OMG! I totally love my friends who are just like an extra large piece of crap. They totally stink and rock my world! I don't have photos of that day though. Sad. I should take more photos, lest I forget the great people in my teenage life.
So, I woke up at around 10 am and went off to fetch my crap friends from, where else, West Mall. Which honestly is the most boring mall which I have been to and yet I always rely on it to meet up with friends if they're coming to my place. So, I always arrive earlier than the rest but somehow, I managed to arrive 30 mins earlier than the designated time. They guys didn't even meet up YET! Chian was still on her way from City Hall when I called in to check. Xinyi and PHS were coming much later. I went up to Popular and saw this great book on sale! It's called "The Broken Souls". It's your usual thriller story. It isn't really as gory as it claims to be but it was way cheap! I read about 6 chapters in when Chian reached.
We waited for the guys to show up which was about another half hour away and stopped by McDonalds for our quick lunch. The guys met us there. And as usual, they were goofing around. The big twist was that this time, the girls weren't the ones on "diet". They guys ate much less than us, which made me feel fat! After lunch, we headed down to the bowling alley. My fingers haven't been slotted into a greasy bowling bowl in ages and the feeling was total ecstasy when I did! The shoes though, were a different matter. We ended up pairing up and my team eventually won because KS was goofing around in the first game and in the last 2 games he was trying to hook the ball! Which he did on several attempts! :D But I lost the overall individual category. BOO! I won the first game but then lost the next 2. I lost my an overall 20 points but I think I had the most number of strikes! :D Heehee! :D
After that we went grocery shopping! Chian and I were goofing off and trying to out-run the guys. In the end, both our feet hurt as we weren't wearing the appropriate foot attire for running. She was wearing her strappy slippers which undeniably hurt, I can testify, and I was wearing my really loose crabby ballet flats. We met PHS there and he gave us his expert opinion on BBQ stuff! We're total noobs at this kind of things. Nobody brought MONEY! SO I had to pay for the whole shibang. I'll get back at them later! Charge them 50% service charge! xP Kidding! Asking where the other 2 went? Apparently, they went to the arcade. Zzz... So, Chian got pissed and then we waited for quite some time. Then we played a prank on them.
We went back home and the weather is freaking hot! I was sweating balls by the time we reached home. We intended to wait for Xinyi as the guys wanted to watch the NBA finals between LA Lakers and Orlando Magic. No interest, so just waited for the game to end and we headed down to meet XY at the pit. We didn't have alot of things because I didn't really plan and prepare the stuff.
So, we missed out on a grill thing which we had to go to great lengths to obtain. We called everyone! XY first, then my Mum which called my dad which called me to say my dad wasn't available. Then XY asked me to call Chong Wei, since he lives just next to me. But I didn't have his number, which I had to go trhough Clayton to get. In the end, PHS had to walk to CW's condo to buy it and we were trying to figure out how to get the fire started.
The guys tried and failed many times and Chian got it in a instant. Haha! Girl Power! I was just a person who lit the matches and held the fire starter, a.k.a Ultimate Slacker. Heehee. XY arrived and PHS minutes after, with the grill! Then we found out we didn't have utensils and brushes. But that was after we had skewered everything. Sigh, it was an ultimate fail BBQ but it was fun!
We went back up to the house but it was really late already. We attempted to play Twister like last year but it ended up in us eating peach slices. KS was sitting in a corner being all sugar-high and stuff, drinking straight from the bottle of Coke. He looked seriously "drunken". Oh, we played MJ too. The guys left after one round because Rahul was pissed. The girls continued on and I was trying to coach and play at the same time. Then Chian left and returned my favourite book! :D Xinyi stayed on and we played 4 rounds with her! Haha! :D I was trying to coach her and she was counting the digits on all the tiles. It was so cute! :D Finally she left, we cleared up and I went to sleep exhausted.
My right arm hurts like shit now. I was wondering all day about the ache in my right arm. I only realised it's cause after I typed out the day's events. I feel bad for not going for class outing. Sigh, I'm just too tired. I'll definitely make it up to the class. Oh, and we took quotes from the day! We laughed a hell lot!
